AIさん英文を読むだけで終わらず、意味をイメージし、使えるフレーズを覚え、最後はPREPを使って自分の言葉で説明できるところまで練習してみましょう。

PREPで英文を整理しましょう
長い記事をそのまま暗記するのではなく、Point → Reason → Example → Pointの順番だけを頭に置いて、自分で説明できる形に変えていきます。
P：Point

実際に英語で話す練習をしてみましょう
ここからは、文章を「読む」状態から、自分で「話す」状態へ変えていきます。
- 英文を見ながら音読する
まずはPREPの例文を見ながら、意味を意識して2〜3回声に出します。 - 英文と日本語を見ながら意味を確認する
英単語を一つずつ訳すのではなく、「何を伝えている文なのか」を頭の中でイメージします。 - 英文を隠し、PREPのキーワードだけで話す
「AI changes work → new skills → examples and risks → keep learning」のように、キーワードだけを見て英文を作ります。 - 自分の言葉に置き換える
たとえば「product development」を「my work」に変えるなど、自分に近い内容に少しずつ置き換えます。 - 最後は何も見ずに30秒〜1分話す
細かな文法ミスを気にしすぎず、PREPの順番を保ちながら最後まで話してみます。
目標は、例文の完全暗記ではありません。
頭の中に置いておきたいのは、内容 → 英語のかたまり → PREPの順番です。この3つを手がかりにして、自分で文章を組み立ててみてください。
キーワードだけで話してみましょう

このキーワードを見て、先ほどと完全に同じ英文でなくても説明できれば十分です。むしろ、少しずつ表現が変わる方が、自分で英語を組み立てる練習になります。
今回の英語練習のポイント
- 最初から英文をすべて覚えようとしない。
- まず英文が表している場面や意味を頭の中でイメージする。
- 自分でも使えそうなフレーズを2〜3個選ぶ。
- PREPのPoint → Reason → Example → Pointという話の順番を覚える。
- 最後は本文を見ず、自分の言葉で30秒〜1分話してみる。
今回なら、まずhave an impact on、adapt to change、keep learning and adaptingなど、自分が使いやすい表現から取り入れてみてください。
長い英文を丸ごと暗記する必要はありません。内容を理解し、使える英語のかたまりを増やし、それをPREPの順番で組み立てられるようになることが大切です。
少しずつ、「読める英語」から「自分で使える英語」へ変えていきましょう。
